When students at Live Oak High School in Morgan Hill, California, were sent home for wearing American flag t-shirts on Cinco de Mayo, the coverage I saw on Fox News, while supportive of the free speech rights of the students, still had some problems as I show in this video.

Whether it’s misrepresenting the law of treason or the applicability of Miranda warnings, Fox News contributors on «Fox and Friends» this week spent a lot of time making a false legal distinction between citizens and non-citizens in the discussion of the arrest of Faisal Shahzad, the man accused of planting an SUV bomb in New York City’s Times Square on May 1, as I show in this video.

Barack Obama vs Jay Leno?

LiberalViewer ? May 02, 2010 ? When President Barack Obama sat through Tonight Show host Jay Leno making fun of Obama at the May 1 White House Correspondents’ Dinner, Obama’s performance was more than adequate for the event. In this video, however, I put together a few clips to question whether Jay Leno missed an opportunity to give substantive dissenting opinions in this speaking-truth-to-power situation.

You can watch the entire May 1, 2010 White House Correspondents Dinner on the C-SPAN website and get information about obtaining video of the entire event at http://www.c-span.org/Watch/Special/2…

When the Drudge Report accused President Barack Obama of playing the race card this week because his video message to «Organizing for America» volunteers about keeping first time voters from 2008 engaged in the political process referred to those voters as «young people, African-Americans, Latinos, and women,» Megyn Kelly and Brit Hume on Fox News spun the story with dishonest editing and selective memory as I show in this video.

Arizona Anti-Immigrant Law Un-American?

LiberalViewer ? April 26, 2010 ? Arizona’s recently enacted anti-immigrant law is so draconian that it led to criticisms from President Barack Obama, the American Civil Liberties Union of Arizona, and Seth Meyers on Saturday Night Live’s Weekend Update, as I show in this video.

Fox News Hides Obama’s Centrism?

I caught Fox News AGAIN this week dishonestly using video to support a Fox News narrative actually contradicted by the unedited video, this time when Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly dishonestly used a clip of President Barack Obama at a rally for California Senator Barbara Boxer to claim the President is wildly welcome by the left, but not so much by the right, as you can see in this video.

The Megyn Kelly teaser clip I use in this video comes from a segment of the Fox News program «America Live» broadcast April 20, 2010 (which I have not been able to find online).
